Nestled in the vibrant heart of Broward County, Tradewinds Atlantic Railway offers a delightful journey that families can enjoy together. This charming railway attraction invites visitors of all ages to step aboard and experience the cutest working miniature train. I honestly didn’t even know this exhibit existed and I’ve been in South Florida for over 25 years! It was a really hot summer afternoon when we visited so there wasn’t a long line. It helps to get there early to assure an early spot.

Depending on the time of year you arrive, the railway offers a variety of themed rides. From the whimsical “Storybook Express” to the adventurous “Wild West Train,” each journey transports kids to a different world. Families can oftentimes expect interactive storytelling, live performances, or possibly even opportunities to meet characters along the way, making every ride an immersive experience. The ride itself was a short ride around a small park lake with the main attraction as the “train station”. It truly was adorable. I also loved passing under the “tree tunnel”.
